In your role, you will:
Serve as a major contributor of new Aftermarket revenue through the development and expansion of Component, Repair, & Overhaul activities and businesses throughout the network.
•Responsible and accountable for the growth of the Aftermarket CRO business
•Establish various component repair and overhaul facilities as required (wheels, brakes, flaps, engines) at service centers worldwide
•Project manage individual files from business case development to project implementation
•Lead, train, and coach a team of 2 project managers
•Establish a pipeline of growth opportunities and develop criteria for prioritizing projects
•Conduct “make vs. buy” analyses as required
•Lead financial business case development (cash flows, EBIT, revenue, etc.)
•Procure tooling and equipment
•Adhere to and maintain an aggressive implementation schedule
•Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements.
As our ideal candidate,
•You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (ex. engineering, management)
•You typically have a minimum of 8 years aerospace experience, with a proven track record of project management (exposure to the service center environment for Business Aircraft – preferred). You have a solid technical understanding of CRO business
•You have an understanding of financial analysis and implementation
•You typically have 2 years’ experience in project management
•You have experience in managing a small team
•You are an autonomous individual requiring minimal oversight
•You must be able to travel as required to implement businesses
•You have experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•You have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to manage various stakeholders
•You have the ability to manage various projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
•You have basic business acumen to include of accounting and budgeting principles necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements, financial reports, and meet financial objectives for assigned area and programs
•You have the ability to demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people
*This position will ideally be based at our Wichita, KS or Montreal site.
