In your role, you will:

•Responsible for the technical management of all acquisition and trade-in aircraft (Bombardier and non-Bombardier aircraft)

•Define the aircraft Statement of Work (SOW) with the Asset Manager and internal stakeholders The SOW may include inspections, modifications, interior refurbishments and paint

•Coordinate and plan the SOW with the Regional Sales Manager including the project duration/downtime

•Launch the project with the facility and ensure all resources i.e. Engineering, tooling, documentation, parts and manpower are available and in place prior to aircraft induction

•Serve as a customer point-of-contact in communications, coordinating, and follow-up for items such as duration, labor & material quotes, preliminary invoices, progress updates, customer approval, debrief on work packages, resolution of squawks, and warranty issues. Upsells additional work to the customer

•Perform project management duties for multiple aircraft to include identification of potential risks and management of constraints

•Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with appropriate service facilities

•Develop requirements for aircraft inventory and ensure cost effective purchases of material, parts and other items required in supporting the maintenance department

•Required to be on call to support aircraft maintenance requirements

•Execute and maintain schedule through aircraft acquisition to delivery and follow-up. Monitor and oversee workflow to ensure work package is on schedule and within budget

•Facilitate status meetings with all departments and update daily reports on status of aircraft

•Review, approve, and sign final invoice as needed

•Support Sales Directors with customer inquiries on maintenance status, mods & upgrades and provide insights to specifics on aircraft configurations

•Provide insights to Sales, Contracts and Pre-Owned Finance from a maintenance perspective that may impact aircraft trade/sales transactions

•Review Outstanding Delivery Items (ODI) prior to aircraft delivery in order to understand requirements and customer expectations

•Plan ODI closure with customers/operators and maintenance facilities in accordance to mutual agreed downtime, date and location

•Ensure ODI closure meet customer expectations and contractual obligations

•Execute contractual obligations related to Holdbacks and submit invoice request to support holdback payment

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

•You have a minimum of 7 years maintenance experience, including strong technical knowledge of Bombardier aircraft and all aspects of their maintenance requirements and inspection schedules

•You have an A&P license

•You have working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA)

•You have attended and completed a Bombardier Aircraft Maintenance course

•You have a strong demonstrated ability to plan and supervise the completion of all technical issues related to corporate aircraft

•You maintain open lines of communication with related departments to assure proper scheduling and operation of aircraft

•You have the ability to travel with little notice internationally and domestically (approximately up to 20%)

•You are able to maintain flexible working hours to meet flight schedule demands

•You have the ability to work with little supervision, make independent decisions, achieve goals and meet flight schedule demands
