Bombardier Logistics Agent in Red Oak, Texas

In your role, you will
Coordinate strategic projects in the logistics team (Schedule changes, Budget, Implementation of new tools and others)
Work in a change management environment with a strong focus on the customer
Develop recovery schedules for production and track progress daily
Communicate gaps and risks with stakeholders and management
Develop and prepare PowerPoint presentations for management
Coordinate any mitigation plans required to protect the BOM
Lead backward/forward scheduling for the BOM (Bill of Material)
Define critical path for BOM within build sequence with cross-functional teams
Establishes plant-wide manpower forecasts based on the strategic plan and the Master Production Schedules
Assists management in determining inventory policies and build policies
As our ideal candidate
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business, Inventory Management or related area or equivalent experience in a Logistics environment.
• You have 2-5 years of experience in Materials or Inventory Management.
• You have basic knowledge of MRP principles and supply chain management -experience or knowledge of SAP – Asset
• You have training in Project Management (asset)
• You have a good understanding of processes (Engineering, Logistics, Methods & Quality)
• You are efficient in managing time and priorities
• You have the ability to develop strategies and in managing impact and influence in interacting with various stakeholders
• You have a good knowledge of software such as MS Project and SAP, and are an expert with PowerPoint and Excel
• You have abilities in project management and are at ease in working in a new program environment
• You have good leadership skills in managing major initiatives involving working with internal and external partners
• You have excellent team spirit skills, as well as communicating, leading projects, and delivering successfully
